This was his first photo-shoot and he coped very well. After a snooze and a snuggle with his Mum, he smiled and giggled for a few moments before closing his eyes and drifting off again.

New arrival at the Henry Household.
I'm always amazed how much love and happiness a little tiny person can bring to a room. Adam is one of those tiny little people. He has little tiny hands, little tiny feet and a little tiny nose, and he makes his parents very happy.

(more) s.a.k. DESIGNS
Another week, another shoot with Stacey @ s.a.k. DESIGNS. The plan was to shoot our beautiful model, Donna McDowell in a kind of 60's, Twiggy inspired style. We had fun playing around with some pretty bright and funky outfits and possibly the tallest platform boots ever designed. Thank god I was born in the 80's, I'm certain that I would have suffered some pretty horrific injuries from wearing platform shoes!
On another note Donna has recently entered the face of GMTV 2010 and could really use your support, click here to vote for her. It will only take 30 seconds and would be a huge help and hugely appreciated.

s.a.k. DESIGNS
I was really excited when Stacey from s.a.k. DESIGNS asked me to shoot some new work for her portfolio. Having worked with her before, I knew the project would be lots of fun. Stacey didn't disappoint, and by the time I arrived she was putting the finishing touches to the lovely model Tanita's make-up and jeans (yes, they are painted!). Here's a few of my favorite shots from the day......

The Wilson Family (Part 2).
This is the second time I have photographed the Wilson family. Late last year I had a great time taking some pictures with Josh and Megan. This year Gail returned with her partner Ryan and her parents to get some lovely family shots.
I love it when the whole family gets involved, there's a great feeling of warmth and fun to the shoot, which always produces great photographs that will be enjoyed for years to come.

(More) Smoke and Mirrors.
This is the second installment of the Smoke and Mirrors series. I had started this late last year and loved the results so much that I thought I should make some more to complete the set.
I had some great responses from these images, with people seeing things in the patterns that I had never dreamed of. I love that each time I look at them I see something a little bit different in the patterns and colours. The relatively small examples seen here and on the main website don't really do them justice...they deserve to be printed really big to properly show them off.
Click here to see the whole set. These images are all available buy as limited edition prints, to place an order or simply share your thoughts drop me a line here. I'd love to hear from you.

Finally....some snow.
It seems like we have been waiting forever but (finally) over the weekend the snow arrived. The fact that it was only a few flakes didn't bother us at all, immediately we wrapped ourselves up in our cosy winter coats and headed out like excited children. What followed was a blur of snow fights, snow angels and a much needed bowl of Irish stew to warm us up again. It really was pretty cold.

It's the most wonderful time of the year...
This week Christmas arrived at my house. I can tell it's Christmas because my house is now almost completely covered in glitter, or with things that are themselves covered in glitter. Aside from a beautifully decorated tree, we have strings with cards (and glitter) on them, picture frames covered with tinsel, a remarkable amount of flashing lights and also a sign reminding us how many days we must wait for Santa. Yes, Christmas has arrived.

It been such a great year at Daniel Wragg Photography, I'm kind of sad to see it go. I've had a whole bunch of great shoots and met some really amazing people along the way. I want to say a massive thanks to everyone who invited me to take photographs of them and capture the special moments in their lives. Thank you.

I wish you all the best and hope you all have a wonderful Christmas. I look forward to seeing you soon.
