Aoife wasn't intending to get her photograph taken. She had just brought her sister Orla and her family down to the studio for a lovely family shoot. After a little arm twisting she eventually agreed to sit for a photograph. Here is my favorite of the bunch...

The Wilson Family (Part 2).

This is the second time I have photographed the Wilson family. Late last year I had a great time taking some pictures with Josh and Megan. This year Gail returned with her partner Ryan and her parents to get some lovely family shots. 

I love it when the whole family gets involved, there's a great feeling of warmth and fun to the shoot, which always produces great photographs that will be enjoyed for years to come.

This is the second installment of the Smoke and Mirrors series. I had started this late last year and loved the results so much that I thought I should make some more to complete the set. 


I had some great responses from these images, with people seeing things in the patterns that I had never dreamed of. I love that each time I look at them I see something a little bit different in the patterns and colours. The relatively small examples seen here and on the main website don't really do them justice...they deserve to be printed really big to properly show them off.

The Wilson Family

This week I have had the absolute pleasure of photographing the Wilson family.  Josh and Megan were great fun and worked the camera like a pair of seasoned professionals! They were full of energy and loved posing and messing around. We got some great photographs from the shoot, here are a couple of my favorites....

It's amazing how much fun you can have with a sheet and a light. I haven't laughed so much in a long time. Narrowing the shots down for this blog was incredibly difficult, but here's a few of my favorites....
